Pharoh! Gamecock great celebrates big win with USC, fans
Pharoh Cooper had a career night against Tennessee in 2014 inside Williams-Brice Stadium, but South Carolina dropped that game to the Vols 45-42.
The former Gamecocks wide receiver, now with the NFL’s Los Angeles Rams, didn’t pass up the chance to celebrate USC’s 24-21 win over No. 18 Tennessee on Saturday night.
“I was on the field recording everything,” said Cooper, who was home during the Rams’ open week. “Had to celebrate the win. It was a big game that we needed, and especially since two years ago we lost to them in double OT. We owed them that. Unbelievable atmosphere and feeling.”
Cooper two years ago accounted for four touchdowns and set a school record for receiving yards in a game with 233. Here’s how he celebrated:
