South Carolina will be without starting left tackle Jarriel King on Saturday when its takes on Florida in The Swamp.

King, who suffered a concussion against Arkansas last week, did not travel with the team to Gainesville, Fla., due to the injury, athletic department spokesperson Steve Fink said Friday evening. The No. 22 Gamecocks (6-3, 4-3 SEC) will start junior Kyle Nunn in place of King.

King has started seven games this season and 26 in his career, more than all but three current Gamecocks. Nunn, 6-foot-5, 304 pounds, has started four games this year and 11 in his career.

The winner of Saturday’s 7:21 p.m. game will win the SEC’s Eastern Division and play in the conference title game on Dec. 4 in the Georgia Dome in Atlanta. It would be the first SEC title of any kind for South Carolina.
