Muschamp updates Gamecocks injuries: One rotation player out, another returns

South Carolina football coach Will Muschamp said his team will be without linebacker Antoine Wilder against Clemson. He dislocated his elbow against Wofford.

The coach did say his team would get Jamyest Williams back. The nickel corner wasn’t available against the Terriers because of a shoulder injury.

Williams will likely be relied upon heavily against the Tigers, as USC has six rotation defensive backs for five spots against an up-tempo team. Wilder was forced into splitting time at strongside linebacker after Bryson Allen-Williams was lost for the season with a shoulder injury.

The Gamecocks face the Tigers at 7:30 on Saturday. The game is on ESPN
