Gamecocks debut in CFP Top 25
South Carolina is ranked for the first time in the 2017 season.
The Gamecocks (8-3) were No. 24 in the College Football Playoff rankings released Tuesday night.
South Carolina hasn’t been ranked in The Associated Press poll since the fifth week of the 2014 season. The Gamecocks didn’t make the AP or coaches polls released Sunday.
USC takes on No. 3 Clemson (10-1) on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. in Williams-Brice Stadium. The Gamecocks are 5-1 at home this year.
