Starting South Carolina wide receiver not in uniform vs Clemson
South Carolina freshman wide receiver Shi Smith will not play Saturday against Clemson.
The Union product was spotted on the sideline out of uniform. He was knocked out of the Gamecocks’ win against Wofford a week earlier with what Will Muschamp called an ankle injury.
There was a report floating out during the week about his knee, but it was never confirmed.
Smith has 350 yards and two scores on 26 catches this season.
