USC’s Bryson Allen-Williams shows how far his injured shoulder has come
South Carolina linebacker Bryson Allen-Williams is just lifting weights in the video.
But considering what it means, it’s a welcome sight for Gamecocks fans.
Allen-Williams saw his 2017 season end early with a shoulder injury. It knocked him out the rest of the year after surgery, but it meant a chance to rehab and return in 2018.
The video he posted Thursday had him curling dumbbells and testing that shoulder, showing no ill effects nearly three months after the injury.
11 weeks ago my senior season was taken from me, and it made me appreciate the game so much more ... thankful for my support system for helping keep faith and keep pushing , baby steps #RoadToRecovery ❗️ pic.twitter.com/KxDAUEf9GM

As a senior, Allen-Williams blossomed into a versatile defender, one who could perform in coverage and as a pass rusher. He’ll rejoin a group of linebacker losing only one player, Skai Moore, who also missed a would-be senior season and ended up earning All-SEC honors.
