Watch: Former Gamecock DJ Swearinger shows he’s still got that swagger in the NFL
Former South Carolina football star D.J. Swearinger didn’t make the play.
But you can bet he was chirping after it.
Video of him in training camp went viral Tuesday as he got in the face of former Washington Redskins teammate and current New York Jets wide receiver Terrelle Pryor. Pryor had just been bet on a rep in a joint practice, and Swearinger let him know.
After five hours, the video had been retweeted nearly 400 times and viewed well over one million times.
Swearinger, known for his ferocious hitting in college, is coming off a season in which he made 61 tackles and four interceptions. Pryor had 240 yards last season in nine games for Washington.
