Wide receiver Deebo Samuel shows his talents during NFL Pro Timing Day at USC
Deebo Samuel is close to the goal.
This last week he was in Columbia at USC’s pro day. He didn’t go through many workouts, relying on the numbers be posted at the combine, but he did let the school do a little behind-the-scenes video about his experience that day.
Samuel did do some position drills and field punts.
When healthy his last few seasons, he was a dynamic all-around playmaker. He was a force the first three games of 2017 before a broken bone ended his season and ultimately brought him back to school. He finished his senior season with 62 catches, 882 yards and receiving 11 touchdowns.
In addition to his 2,076 receiving yards, he added seven career scores on the ground, four as a returner and one as a special teams gunner.
He’s currently projected to go in the second round by CBS Sports as the No. 52 prospect in the draft.
