South Carolina spring game: Hilinski debut, Urich’s big day, good news for a kicker

For a brief moment in the offseason, South Carolina football fans got to watch the Gamecocks suit up and take the field at Williams-Brice.

The Garnet team outlasted the Black team 28-16, with quarterbacks bouncing back and forth between them. Garnet got scores from Kevin Harris, Jay Urich, Slade Carroll and Trey Adkins, while Black had a Mon Denson run, the off-the-bench play to Deebo Samuel and a Parker White field goal.
