The GoGamecocks Podcast: What to make of Will Muschamp’s coaching staff changes

Within a day of South Carolina football’s 2019 season ending with a lopsided 38-3 loss to rival Clemson and a 4-8 record, coach Will Muschamp shook things up on his coaching staff, letting go of quarterbacks coach Dan Werner and strength and conditioning coach Jeff Dillman, and demoting offensive coordinator Bryan McClendon.

On the latest episode of The GoGamecocks Podcast, The State’s Greg Hadley and Ben Breiner sit down to discuss the loss to Clemson and what it means for the state of the rivalry between the in-state schools.

Then, they dive into the reasoning and impact of the coaching changes Muschamp made Sunday, one by one, before looking ahead to the future of South Carolina’s offensive coordinator position and whether there might be still more changes coming for the Gamecocks this offseason.

The GoGamecocks Podcast is available on Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, Google Play Music, Spotify, Stitcher, TuneIn, iHeartRadio, Pandora, RadioPublic, Luminary, Pocket Casts, Podchaser, Castbox, Castro and Overcast. New episodes will continue to be released throughout basketball season and football’s offseason.
