Two South Carolina signees make big jump in final 247 rankings, one gets fourth star

South Carolina tight end signee Eric Shaw made a big move in the final 247Sports rankings released Tuesday afternoon.

Shaw, who played at Reeltown High School in Alabama, moved up more than 200 spots to 106 for Class of 2020 and is a four-star prospect. He had 132 tackles, 16 tackles for loss, three sacks, six forced fumbles, and three interceptions this season.

Abbeville offensive lineman and South Carolina signee Trai Jones also made a big jump from 366 to 242 and is now a four-star prospect.

Five-star Jordan Burch was the highest ranked Gamecock commit/signee in the rankings. The Hammond defensive end was 17th in the rankings, a drop of nine spots. Burch didn’t sign with USC in the early period and will have his signee at 1 p.m. on Feb. 5.

108. Luke Doty, QB, Myrtle Beach - Dropped 43 spots

212. Alex Huntley, DT, Hammond - Dropped 30 spots

242. Trai Jones, OL, Abbeville - Moved up 118 spots
