USC is behind favorite Alabama, LSU, Georgia, Florida Auburn and Texas A&M. The other teams at 100/1 are Kentucky, Mississippi State, Ole Miss, Missouri and Tennessee.
South Carolina finished tied for fourth in the SEC East last season. USC’s best finish with Muschamp was second in 2017. They are coming off a 4-8 season.
The Gamecocks have only won the SEC East once, in 2010, and lost to Cam Newton’s Auburn team. The 2020 season is set to open on Sept. 5 against Coastal Carolina.
