South Carolina offensive coordinator Mike Bobo has not yet spoken publicly about a report that levied accusations of “racially insensitive” comments made while he was head football coach at Colorado State.

But others have spoken up publicly to back him.

The group included an NFL wide receiver, his former boss Mark Richt, other coaches and former players. Bobo coached at Georgia for 14 years before taking the Rams job in 2014. He spent five years before departing last offseason.

Below are some of the comments supporting the coach who took over the Gamecocks offense last December.

Former Colorado State and current Dallas Cowboy Michael Gallup

Former Georgia coach Mark Richt

Gamecocks assistant Joe Cox, whose family was mentioned in the Coloradoan story

SEC Network commentator and former UGA QB D.J. Shockley

Kim Jackson, mother of Colorado State wide receiver Warren Jackson

Presbyterian QB coach Doug Saylor

Former Colorado State cornerbacks coach Eric Lewis, who worked for Bobo
