Former Gamecocks strength coach hired by national high school powerhouse
A key part of Jeff Dillman’s resume when he was first hired by Will Muschamp was his time at IMG Academy, an acclaimed prep boarding school and training academy.
After Muschamp let Dillman go this offseason, the Appalachian State alum has landed back in Bradenton, Florida.
Dillman tweeted out that he was hired as assistant head coach of strength and conditioning at the school. The football team there has become a destination for high-end prep talent on the way to big-time college programs.
Muschamp hired Paul Jackson to replace Dillman this offseason.
Dillman was with Muschamp at Florida and then spent a year at Alabama between Muschamp’s head coaching stints. Before that, Dillman had overseen the strength programs at IMG as Head of Physical Conditioning.
He also spent time at LSU, App. State and UL-Monroe.
