A sneak peek at new South Carolina football uniforms

The South Carolina football team was reportedly set to break out new garnet and white uniforms a year after releasing Black Magic throwbacks to pay homage to the 1984 squad.

Images of those new uniforms made their way to social media on Saturday night.

Photos of the new jerseys appear to have been pulled from the Snapchat app and then shared on Twitter. Images of tight end Keveon Mullins and defense end Joseph Anderson’s jerseys were included.

The larger numbers are similar to the Black Magic uniform numbers. Presumably the team was given the new uniforms for Saturday night’s scrimmage at Williams-Brice Stadium.

Gamecocks coach Will Muschamp will speak about how the scrimmage went at 6 p.m. on Sunday.
