Parker White becomes South Carolina’s all-time leading scorer
A new man is atop the South Carolina record books.
South Carolina kicker Parker White broke the Gamecocks’ all-time scoring record Thursday with his 30-yard kick against North Carolina in the Duke’s Mayo Bowl. White’s kick pushed him past previous record-holder Elliott Fry.
Now in his sixth-year at South Carolina, White is a perfect 28 of 28 on extra point tries and 15 of 17 on field goal attempts in 2021.
White entered the year trailing Fry by 69 points. He has now recorded 70 points for the Gamecocks this year and has 360 points in his career.
The Mt. Pleasant native had connected on 122 of 124 extra points and 56 of 82 field goal attempts entering the 2021 campaign.
