Former South Carolina football offensive lineman finds new college home
Former South Carolina offensive lineman Vince Murphy has found a new college football home.
Murphy announced Sunday that he will be play next season at Western Kentucky. His decision comes less than a month after announcing he was leaving USC on Dec. 13.

Murphy, a 6-foot-2, 312-pound redshirt sophomore, played in eight games this season, working at both center and guard. Rated a three-star prospect by the 247Sports Composite, Murphy attended high school at Florida powerhouse St. Thomas Aquinas in Fort Lauderdale and was rated the seventh-best prospect at center in the 2019 class.
Nine Gamecocks have announced they would be leaving the program. Jason Brown (Virginia Tech) and Keveon Mullins (Jackson State) are the other ones to announce their new schools.
