Kickoff time, TV set for South Carolina’s 2023 football game against Georgia
It will be a mid-afternoon kickoff for South Carolina’s matchup against defending national champion Georgia.
CBS announced the Gamecocks’ Sept. 16 game at Georgia will be a 3:30 p.m. kickoff. Georgia defeated the Gamecocks, 48-7, last year and has won seven of the last eight in the series. USC’s lone win in that stretch was a 20-17 win at Sanford Stadium in 2019.
This will be USC’s first appearance on CBS since it hosted Alabama on Sept. 14, 2019.
This the first known kickoff time of the year for the Gamecocks. Kickoff times for the UNC and Furman games (Sept. 2 and 9) are expected to be released in the coming weeks.
After that, game times will be revealed in-season on a week-by-week basis.
