Bruce Feldman: Eight wins sounds optimistic
Between now and the season-opener against North Carolina on Sept. 3, we will ask 50 people: “What do you think about the Gamecocks in 2015?” We’re counting down the days until kickoff. Today’s panelist is Bruce Feldman, FOX Sports reporter:
“Last year I thought was just a bad year, and I feel like they’ve lost a bunch of momentum. Defensively, they were so shaky. Everything was ripe for them a couple years ago. Tennessee was down. Florida was spinning its wheels. I don’t think they capitalized when their window was there. I don’t know how good the quarterback play is going to be. The best player on their offense – Pharoh Cooper – is a really good receiver. How much can you get him the ball? To me, eight wins sounds really optimistic.”
