TV, kickoff time set for South Carolina’s Nov. 16 home football game vs. Missouri
Details for South Carolina’s first home game post-field rush, after the Texas A&M upset are finally set.
The Gamecocks will be back inside the friendly confines of Williams-Brice Stadium in two Saturdays taking on the Missouri Tigers at 4:15 p.m. with USC’s conference finale airing on SEC Network.
It will be the second-straight afternoon contest for the Gamecocks (5-3, 3-3 SEC), who kickoff against Vanderbilt this Saturday at 4:15 p.m. ET.
Against Missouri (6-2, 2-2 SEC), the Gamecocks will be looking for their first victory over the Tigers since 2018, a stretch that has included five-straight losses to the school from the other Columbia.
If South Carolina falls to Vanderbilt this week, that would also set up the possibility of the Gamecocks becoming bowl-eligible at home.
Missouri, coming off an 11-2 season a year ago, has struggled in 2024. Though the Tigers started 4-0 and crept up to No. 7 in the country, they lost by 31 to Texas A&M and then fell 34-0 at Alabama.
It could be a good chance for the Gamecocks to break their Missouri losing streak. And it would just add to South Carolina’s great November record under head coach Shane Beamer.
Since he took over in 2021, the Gamecocks are 9-4 in November.
