Spurrier Jr. and wife expecting seventh child
Consider this one the extra point.
Steve Spurrier Jr. and his wife, Melissa, are expecting their seventh child in October. The baby will be the couple’s second girl.
“You lose count after so many,” Spurrier Jr. said in jest. “You’ll have to ask her the questions on why, but she’s as happy as she can be. Got a little girl coming, and she’s thrilled.”
The Spurriers have 14-year-old triplets (Luke, Gavin and Emmaline), a 9-year old son (Nolan) and 5-year-old twins (Palmer and Hayden).
Now to make sure that Melissa delivers on time – the Gamecocks’ bye week is Oct. 24.
