The final home game of South Carolina’s football season sets the program up to honor its senior players.

The Gamecocks will recognize 27 for Senior Day before Saturday’s home finale against Wofford, according to a social media post Friday from USC’s football X account (formerly known as Twitter). Those players are:

  • Kamaar Bell
  • Davis Beville
  • Joseph Byrnes
  • Dalevon Campbell
  • Gilber Edmond
  • King-Demenian Ford
  • O’Donnell Fortune
  • Tonka Hemingway
  • Alex Herrera
  • Alex Huntley
  • DeAndre Jules
  • Kyle Kennard
  • Demetrius Knight Jr.
  • Kai Kroeger
  • Gage Larvadain
  • Vershon Lee
  • Payton Mangrum
  • Bam Martin-Scott
  • Juju McDowell
  • Aaron Morton
  • Hunter Rogers
  • Rocket Sanders
  • TJ Sanders
  • Josh Simon
  • Torricelli Simpkins
  • David Spaulding
  • Debo Williams

The Gamecocks listed 36 fourth-, fifth- or sixth-year seniors on this season’s roster. There are 14 “super seniors” — those players who are known to have have zero eligibility remaining.

Notable names not on the published list who are considered seniors: Luke Doty, Robby Ashford, Bradley Dunn, Mo Kaba and Nick Barrett.

USC also did not list two super seniors on their list: tailback Oscar Adaway and injured offensive lineman Jakai Moore. Adaway is in his sixth year of college football. He’s redshirted twice — once because of an ACL injury. Moore is a USC veteran who was injured in early August for the Gamecocks and hasn’t played this season.

For those honored who aren’t super seniors, walking Saturday doesn’t guarantee they’ll be leaving the program. At the same time, not walking doesn’t mean someone is definitely returning for the 2025 season.

Beamer told reporters on last Sunday’s weekly teleconference — without naming names — that he’s already received a list of those with another year who are planning to return.

“And I think that’s great,” he said. “I welcome all those guys back that want to come back. And I think it’s a testament to what we’re doing in this program that so many of these guys want to come back for another year.”

Redshirt juniors on USC’s published list include defensive lineman TJ Sanders and walk-ons Aaron Morton and Joseph Byrnes.

Notable redshirt juniors not on the list include wide receiver Jared Brown, edge Jatius Geer and tight ends Brady Hunt and Nick Elksnis.
