Andy’s Deli owner: ‘The QB is getting stronger’
50 Opinions, Day 27: Between now and the season-opener against North Carolina on Sept. 3, we will ask 50 people: “What do you think about the Gamecocks in 2015?” We’re counting down the days until kickoff. Today’s panelist is Andy Shlon, owner of Andy’s Deli in Five Points:
“I think we will be better than last year. I think we have good people and good coaches. Their record is going to be very good. We are better than what we think we are. I have seen the guys (in his restaurant), and I think the quarterback (Connor Mitch) is going to be good. He’s more mature now, and he’s getting stronger.”
