First look at South Carolina’s projected starters for Virginia Tech game
The depth chart for South Carolina football’s first season opener against Virginia Tech has been released ... sort of.
South Carolina head coach Shane Beamer opted not to share a two-deep depth chart before their opener, something several college teams around the country have also done. And Sunday’s flip chart of the rosters included a Hokies depth chart ... but not one for the Gamecocks.
Beamer did give fans and media clue, saying to look out for who’d line up with the first-team offense, defense and special teams during South Carolina’s warmups about 30 minutes before the game starts.
Here’s a look at who The State saw trot out first for the No. 13 Gamecocks with half an hour to go before kickoff against Virginia Tech:
