The kickoff time is set for the South Carolina vs. LSU matchup in Death Valley.

South Carolina and LSU will play in primetime under the lights at 7, 7:30 or 7:45 p.m. on Oct. 11, the SEC announced Monday. The game will be televised on ESPN, ABC or SEC Network.

The final kickoff time and TV network will be determined after the upcoming weekend’s games.

This will be the fifth-straight night game for Shane Beamer and the Gamecocks. South Carolina has played at night in every game except the season opener against Virginia Tech.

The game will be South Carolina’s third trip to Baton Rouge in the last decade. The Gamecocks lost at LSU in 2015 and in 2020. South Carolina has just two wins in program history against LSU — in 1994 and 1930.

South Carolina is heading into a bye week this week after improving to 3-2 (1-2 SEC) with a 35-13 win over Kentucky on Saturday. LSU, meanwhile, lost its first game of the season to Ole Miss on Saturday. The Tigers (4-1, 1-1 SEC) are heading into their own bye week.
