The game time for South Carolina-Alabama football is set.

The Gamecocks’ home game against the Crimson Tide next Saturday will kick off at 3:30 p.m. on ABC, the SEC announced Monday. The game had previously been designated as a flex, meaning it could be an afternoon or night kickoff.

Alabama is currently 5-1, 3-0 in the SEC and ranked No. 6 in the country. As of Monday, it will be the third of four straight games coming up against ranked conference opponents for the Gamecocks, who lost at No. 11 LSU on Saturday.

Unranked South Carolina (3-3, 1-3 SEC) hosts No. 14 Oklahoma on Saturday before playing No. 6 Alabama (home), No. 5 Ole Miss (road) and No. 4 Texas A&M (road).

The Alabama game is one of the biggest on South Carolina’s 2025 home schedule. The Gamecocks have not hosted Alabama at Williams-Brice Stadium since 2019, a 47-23 Crimson Tide win.

USC famously upset then-No. 1 Alabama 35-21 in Columbia back in 2010. That victory remains the best in USC history based on opponent AP ranking.

South Carolina narrowly lost last year’s meeting in Tuscaloosa 27-25, which was the first meeting between coaches Shane Beamer and Kalen DeBoer.
