Kick time, TV channel set for South Carolina-Ole Miss football game
South Carolina has learned the kickoff time for its next road game.
The Gamecocks will travel to Oxford next week and play No. 8 Ole Miss on Nov. 1 at 7 p.m., it was announced Saturday. The game is set to be televised on ESPN.
This is the sixth night game of the year for South Carolina.
The USC-Ole Miss game was a “flex” game, meaning it could’ve been played in the afternoon or at night. The kick time was delayed until Saturday’s games were completed and released after all SEC games were completed Saturday.
Ole Miss is fresh off a 34-26 win Saturday over Oklahoma. The Rebels are 7-1 (4-1 SEC).
South Carolina is coming off a 29-22 loss to Alabama. The Gamecocks dropped to 3-5 (1-5 SEC) on the year.
Ole Miss leads the all-time series against South Carolina 10-8. Ole Miss holds a two-game win streak after a victory last year in Williams-Brice and a 2020 win at home. South Carolina’s last win over Ole Miss came in 2018 in Oxford.
