Veteran South Carolina O-lineman hitting transfer portal, reports say
Another South Carolina offensive lineman is hitting the transfer portal.
Redshirt senior Ryan Brubaker has entered the transfer portal, according to multiple reports. He is the ninth Gamecock offensive lineman to enter the portal as the program looks to retool its line.
Brubaker’s career has been filled with injuries. He redshirted as a freshman and missed the entire 2023 season with an injury.
In 2024, Brubaker played five games as a backup, logging in 28 snaps according to Pro Football Focus. But last season, he missed the entire training camp and didn’t come back until late in the season, playing against Coastal Carolina and logging 11 snaps.
