Chad Simmons: This USC team will surprise some people

“Really, I kind of wonder what they are going to be. There is no real star power. There is no Marcus Lattimore, no Jadeveon Clowney, no Connor Shaw. I think they are going to be a solid team. Steve Spurrier is one of the best coaches in the country. They may surprise somebody and they may get upset by somebody. I don’t think they are world beaters or even ready to challenge for the SEC East title. They are just one of those teams that is going to surprise some people.”
