USC vs. Vanderbilt game time announced

For the fourth time in as many weeks, South Carolina and its fans will get a daytime kickoff Oct. 17.

The Gamecocks’ home game against Vanderbilt will be at 4 p.m., the SEC announced Monday. The game will be broadcast on the SEC Network.

The Gamecocks (2-3, 0-3 SEC) host LSU this week at noon while the Commodores (2-3, 0-2) are idle. USC lost at Missouri last week while Vanderbilt beat Middle Tennessee State.

USC leads the overall series 20-4 and has won six straight and 13 of 15. The Gamecocks won 48-34 in Nashville last year despite allowing two kickoff returns for touchdowns.
