Vandy football gathers, delivers supplies to Columbia
With Vanderbilt football at home this week, the semi-truck the Commodores use to move their equipment wasn’t needed for a trip.
Its availability is why it found its way to the heart of South Carolina’s campus early Friday afternoon.

— F3 Columbia (@F3Columbia) October 9, 2015In the middle of the week, Vanderbilt football set toward the goal of raising enough supplies to fill the trailer and send it off to Columbia. Instead, they filled two with more than 3,000 cases of water, four generators and 400 pairs of shoes.
They arrived at Russell House for a waiting group of students ready to unload the trucks.
How amazing. @VandyFootball trucks (2!) have arrived with water and generators. Our #SECfamily is incredible. pic.twitter.com/9iWwjj4As1
