Connor Shaw, Johnny Manziel gear up for USC vs. Texas A&M

If Connor Shaw gets his way, Johnny Manziel will be dressed in South Carolina Gamecocks gear next week.

The two Cleveland Browns quarterbacks made a friendly bet surrounding the Saturday showdown between their college teams, South Carolina and Texas A&M.

If the Gamecocks win, Manziel will don USC clothing. With an Aggies victory, Shaw will wear Texas A&M gear.

“My @gamecockfb care package arrived just in time for @jmanziel2 to wear next week,” Shaw said Thursday via his Instagram page with a photo of a USC hat, shirts and shorts.

Shaw is South Carolina’s all-time winningest quarterback. Manziel won the Heisman Trophy with Texas A&M in 2012.

They became NFL teammates in Cleveland in 2014.

Shaw is on the Browns’ injured reserve list. He is out for the season.
