Former NFL and University of South Carolina standout Ko Simpson, a Rock Hill native, will hold a free football clinic for children ages 3-14 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Dec. 5 at Nation Ford High School in Fort Mill.

Simpson, 31, who played for the Buffalo Bills and Detroit Lions, starred at Rock Hill High School before going on to a career in professional football. He is an assistant coach at Rock Hill High and is continuing his education at USC.

The clinic on Dec. 5 is his first venture as a franchise holder for N Zone Sports, a national youth sports program for boys and girls. Simpson plans to have programs ranging from cheerleading to flag football and more starting in early 2016.

The clinic Dec. 5 is free, Simpson said. Plans are being set for spring leagues.
