Houston working on deal to keep Tom Herman
The University of Houston is not going to let Tom Herman go without a fight it seems.
The school’s board of regents agenda for a Thursday meeting includes an item “to delegate authority to the Chancellor to negotiate and execute an amendment to the contract of the Head Football Coach at the University of Houston,” according to the Houston Chronicle.
Herman, a former assistant under Urban Meyer at Ohio State, is in his first year with the Cougars, who are 10-0 and ranked No. 13 in the country. He has been linked to numerous head coaching openings, including the one at South Carolina.
