UNC coach Fedora won’t say if he’s heard from USC
North Carolina coach Larry Fedora, who has been considered to be a candidate for the South Carolina job, declined to comment Friday on whether he has heard from USC.
Fedora was speaking at a press conference to preview the ACC Championship game.
“You know what, I wouldn't talk about it if any school reached out to me,” he said. “All I'm going to talk about is what we're doing here and playing Clemson for the ACC Championship.”
According to a report from InsideCarolina, Fedora and UNC are in talks about a contract extension.
Fedora is in his fourth season at North Carolina after spending four seasons at Southern Miss. He has the Tar Heels ranked No. 10 and 11-1.
“If it was six weeks ago and you asked me that question, I wouldn't have answered it then, either,” Fedora said. “I don't answer to rumors.”
