Pharoh Cooper, Skai Moore named AP All-SEC
Wide receiver Pharoh Cooper’s college career might be over, but the accolades keep rolling in.
He was named a first-team All-SEC receiver by the Associated Press on Monday, and slotted into a second-team all-purpose spot. Linebacker Skai Moore was the only other Gamecock on the list, coming in on the second team.
Cooper caught 66 passes for 973 yards and eight scores. His totals were tamped down by quarterback issues, but he often blew through coverages and befuddled defenses. He also ran for 111 yards and a touchdown on 24 carries, threw one touchdown and returned 12 punts for 55 yards.
Moore led the team with 111 tackles and four interceptions. He also switched positions from the middle to the outside early in the year.
Both players will forgo their senior seasons to test the NFL Draft waters.
