Steve Spurrier visits Empire State Building
Steve Spurrier can be a tourist, too.
The former South Carolina football coach stopped by the Empire State Building on Monday and visited the 86th Floor Observatory. He was photographed wearing a Gamecocks jacket.
Spurrier was in New York City for the annual Heisman Trophy presentation, which took place Saturday night. He won the Heisman in 1966 as a quarterback at Florida. He was joined at the ceremony by South Carolina’s George Rogers, who won the Heisman in 1980 as a running back.
Spurrier wore a Gamecocks tie as part of the Heisman event Saturday.
