Stephon Gilmore’s season ends with shoulder injury
The Buffalo Bills have placed Stephon Gilmore on injured reserve with a shoulder injury, ending his season early.
The former South Carolina star was Buffalo’s top cornerback.
Gilmore, a free agent after the 2016 season, started 12 games, intercepting three passes and recording 18 passes defensed -- fifth in the NFL. He made 36 tackles.
Gilmore suffered a dislocated shoulder two weeks ago and missed this past Sunday's game against the Philadelphia Eagles.
