South Carolina tight end Jerell Adams bound for Senior Bowl
A longtime South Carolina football contributor will get his chance to make an impression on NFL scouts.
Tight end Jerell Adams, a versatile part of South Carolina’s offense in 2015, will play in the Senior Bowl, a showcase for potential NFL draftees. The game is Jan. 30 in Mobile, Ala.

— Reese's Senior Bowl (@seniorbowl) December 14, 2015Adams was used all over the field on offense this past season, often splitting out and catching 28 passes for 421 yards and three touchdowns. He was second on the team in all three categories behind Pharoh Cooper.
He started 15 games in his career and played every game in his last three seasons.
CBSSports lists him as the No. 130 prospect overall and No. 7 tight end, around a fourth-round pick.
