South Carolina coach Will Muschamp had an on-air role Monday night when Alabama took on Clemson in the national title game.

ESPN analysts Brian Griese and Chris Spielman were joined Muschamp and four other coaches on ESPN2 for “Film Room,” which provides analysis of the game as it happens from a room equipped with multiple camera angles, clicker technology and telestration at ESPN’s Bristol, Conn., headquarters.

“ESPN called and asked if we wanted to come and talk a little bit about the game,” Muschamp said. “Obviously I’m very familiar with Alabama. I thought it would be a good idea for us to get up there and do that.”

Muschamp was joined by head coaches Larry Fedora (North Carolina), Jim McElwain (Florida), Pat Narduzzi (Pittsburgh) and Willie Taggart (South Florida).

The exposure of being a part of the show has its benefits with National Signing Day just a few weeks away.

“It’s a good advertisement for us,” Muschamp said.
