Gamecock coaches will work satellite camp at Mercer in Georgia
With satellite camps now an option for South Carolina’s football program, Gamecocks coach Will Muschamp said he had a plan in place.
Another piece of that became public, and USC coaches will be making a trip to central Georgia.
The official Twitter account for Mercer football tweeted out a poster for a June 3-4 camp with logos of other colleges, including the Gamecocks. South Carolina coaches will already be working an event June 17 at Ridge View High School.

Auburn, Florida, Georgia, Georgia Tech and Marshall are among the teams set to be represented at the camp. Mercer’s program is led by Bobby Lamb, who led Furman to a 67-40 record in nine seasons with four playoff trips.
The Gamecocks are scheduled to host a camp June 4, and based on the program’s posted schedule, that is the first day they will be able to travel for camps.
