Steve Spurrier makes news as SEC Media Days event begins
The SEC’s annual Football Media Days began Monday and, despite not being there, Steve Spurrier still managed to be part of the conversation.
The former South Carolina and Florida coach has been a mainstay at the Hoover, Ala., event for almost two decades, always delivering some of the week’s best quotes.
Spurrier gave SEC Media Days a shout-out on Twitter and was recognized by commissioner Greg Sankey as the event got under way.
