Finebaum on Muschamp: A little bit of Nick Saban in this man

The comparisons are natural, but the biggest voice in SEC football saying it carries weight.

Paul Finebaum compared South Carolina’s new coach, Will Muschamp, to his former boss Nick Saban, the man generally regarded as the best coach and runner of a program in the sport. It came as part of a preview for the first episode of the athletic department’s web series Gamecock Confidential: Forever To Thee.

“He’s a serious coach,” Finebaum said. “I think what you’re going to see is a program under Will Muschamp, the Gamecocks will compete.”

The series debuts Wednesday night at 8 p.m. on Facebook Live.
