Connor Shaw and Dylan Thompson are with the Cleveland Browns and San Francisco 49ers now, but their influence remains in South Carolina’s current quarterback competition.
"Just learning from Connor and Dylan was huge," redshirt sophomore Connor Mitch said this week. "I learned a lot those first two years. They were very helpful."
Junior Perry Orth also mentioned Thompson’s tutelage last season.
"Dylan took all us underneath his wing," Mitch said. "He mentored us and taught us everything we need to know."
