Muldrow sets USC blocks record
Sam Muldrow is now the Gamecocks' all-time blocked shot leader after recording his 250th and 251st swats on Saturday against Georgia.
Muldrow blocked four shots on Saturday to break the school career record of 249 set by Brandon Wallace from 2003-07.
"It was a great accomplishment," Muldrow said. "I'm very proud of myself. It was one of my goals."
Muldrow set the mark stuffing a layup by Chris Barnes with eight minutes left in the game.
"Really proud of Sam. Good to see him get it," coach Darrin Horn said. "Any time you're the best at something at your school, I think that's special. He's very well deserving."
Muldrow also has the school’s single-game mark with 10 blocks against Vanderbilt earlier this year in Columbia.
