South Carolina locks in SEC men’s basketball tournament seed. Here’s the 2025 schedule

The upward battle for South Carolina men’s basketball at the SEC Tournament begins Wednesday.

The Gamecocks (12-19 overall) finished 2-16 in SEC after falling to No. 4 Tennessee on Saturday afternoon. They’ve now secured the No. 16 seed in the conference tournament.

The tournament is being held in Nashville, Tennessee again this year, with the action starting Wednesday. The championship game will be held Sunday, March 16 at 1 p.m. and be televised on ESPN. South Carolina is vying for its second SEC Tournament championship in program history (1997).

USC plays Arkansas at 1 p.m. Wednesday..
