The South Carolina men’s basketball schedule is starting to take shape.

The Gamecocks received their 18 Southeastern Conference game designations on Wednesday. No dates have been set for the matchups.

USC will have home-and-home series with three schools — Florida, Georgia and LSU. That means they’ll play those schools at home as well as on the road.

The other opponents will either be home only or road only.

The rest of USC’s home conference matchups are Kentucky, Mississippi State, Missouri, Oklahoma, Tennessee and Vanderbilt.

The other Gamecocks road contests are made up of Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, Ole Miss, Texas and Texas A&M.

In addition to conference games, USC already has announced it will be playing in the Greenbrier Tip-off Classic in West Virginia on Nov. 21 and 23. The Gamecocks will face Butler on Nov. 21 and Northwestern on Nov. 23.

USC will be hosting Virginia Tech on Dec. 2 in the ACC-SEC Challenge and will play a game at rival Clemson on a date yet to be determined.

CBS Network analyst Jon Rothstein also reported on Tuesday that the Gamecocks are in talks with N.C. State to play an exhibition game in Greensboro, North Carolina.

South Carolina is coming off a 12-20 season and will have a revamped roster for this season that includes 11 transfers or incoming freshmen, including guard Eli Ellis. The Gamecocks started summer workouts last week.
