Lamont Paris’ Gamecocks lock in SEC game schedule for new season
The South Carolina men’s basketball team’s 2025-26 game schedule is starting to take shape.
The Gamecocks on Wednesday received the dates for their 18-game Southeastern Conference schedule.
South Carolina will open up conference play at home against Vanderbilt. And they’ll play LSU, Georgia and defending national champion Florida both home and away this season. The Gators come to Columbia for a mid-week matchup on Jan. 27 or 28.
The lone matchup with Kentucky will take place at Colonial Life Arena on either Feb. 24 or Feb. 25.
USC is coming off a 12-20 season and will have a revamped roster for this season that includes 11 transfers or incoming freshmen, highlighted by Mike Sharavjamts, Elijah Strong, Karter Knox and Eli Ellis. The Gamecocks just completed summer workouts last week and start class later this month.
The full schedule, including all nonconference games, is typically finalized sometime in September. TV networks, streaming info and tip times will be released at a later date.
Here are the games on the Gamecocks’ schedule that have been revealed so far:
