USC men’s basketball season-opener tipoff time set

The game time for South Carolina’s Nov. 14 men’s basketball season opener against Norfolk State will be 7 p.m. at Colonial Life Arena.

The meeting is the first all-time between the two schools, and the game is the start of the 108th season of varsity basketball at South Carolina. The tipoff time for the opener was determined Monday after the SEC revealed that the USC-Florida football game the same day will start at noon.

The Gamecocks host Allen University on Nov. 8 in their lone exhibition in advance of the 2015-16 campaign. Game time for the free admission event is set for 4 p.m. at Colonial Life Arena.

Season ticket prices for the upcoming season remain unchanged, with full season packages starting at $90. The Gamecocks Pass, a mobile subscription season ticket, is also available for $50.
