Gamecocks slip out of men’s Top 25
South Carolina fell out of the Associated Press Top 25 for the first time in six weeks on Monday after going 1-1 last week.
The Gamecocks (17-2, 4-2 SEC) rallied to win at Ole Miss in overtime but lost to Tennessee. They fell from No. 24 last week to receiving 74 votes this week, good for 27th place. The Gamecocks were No. 22, down from No. 18, in the USA Today/coaches poll.
USC hosts Mississippi State and Alabama this week.
